Devot:ee Review Love
Devot:ee is the de-facto place to go for ExpressionEngine add-ons, and has improved the EE community for the better. Devot:ee community members have rated CE Image 74 times with an average rating of 5.00, and 144 people have “favorited” the plugin (as of 18 May 2012 at 12:30 PM, PDT). The following are select reviews from the Devot:ee CE Image page:
Opens up a world of possibilities. It’s like it knows what I want to do before I do!
Does everything advertised and does it well. I had an issue with my website. Even though what I was doing was not really something that is done in a lot of the developers install base he went the extra mile to assist me. We eventually got a solution that works great. True professional!
FANTASTIC!! Three failed AddOns later and WOW! So easy and I spent over a week messing with every AddOn in the catalogue with ZERO success. Jae Barclay recommended you guys and man am I SOOOO happy! Just for the record ... this works great when serving images from a subdomain!
Aaron is constantly updating CE Image and his entire line of products (of which I have more than a few). To see the way he responds to the community and is passionate about his add-ons is refreshing and inspiring.
If I could I would give it 6 out of 5 stars
Awesome plugin with excellent support. A default install on every EE site I build.
I love this add-on! So many options and the support is awesome. It’s a mainstay in my add-on arsenal.
On my list of must-have add-ons for every site. Way more functionality built-in that I’ll probably ever use. Does everything well, and the developers are responsive and provide great support.
A valuable asset for any EE install, CE Image gives you the control to do pretty much anything you will ever need to with images in Expression Engine - and then some!
Best. Image. Sizer. Ever
This plugin is the bomb.
CE Image is one of the most essential plugins on every EE installation we setup. This plugin by far exceeds the other image re-sizing plugins features and has made the utilization of images (including watermarking) a breeze on our sites. My only regret is that I didn’t start using it sooner.
One of my favorites for sure and worth every penny. Aaron knocked it out of the park with this one.
Exceptional.
I love it and clients love it.
A great plugin with great support. I really love the fallback image option. If you have trouble getting images to load, you might need to use this plugin in conjunction with the Parse File Paths plugin, with parse=“inward”.
So good it’s almost wrong.
without a doubt the best plugin for image manipulation. there is nothing you can’t do, in fact you can do things to your pictures you’d never thought about by yourself. awesome!
Aaron’s support has been absolutely brilliant, and the plugin itself is an absolute lifesaver. It’s completely worth the $15 for the hours it’ll save you and your clients!
By far the best image manipluation plugin I’ve used. Fantastic customer support!
Buh-bye ImageSizer & ED Image Resizer!! CE Image is worth every penny and I haven’t even used 95% of the features!
Used CE Image for the first time on our most recent project. It has already been added to our list of core addons which we will install for all future projects. Incredible value for such a robust and easy to integrate tool. Awesome work here.
A great value. More features than you can shake a stick at, and excellent support.
I think this is my default image resizing plug-in from now on! A+
Aaron’s support for this excellent module has been second to none, solving some setup problems I’d introduced with an install of MSM.
The module works extremely well, once it’s installed you can forget it’s there!
Best $8 bucks I ever spent.
Just read what everyone said, this is a must have, does everything. The options are endless!
Simple, effective, does EXACTLY what it says and does it very well.
The key benefit of CE image is the support, which is fast and helpful. The other resizers might be free, but have no support, it’s easily worth the $8.
Plus you get loads of extra options.
Great plugin, and very much worth the tiny price! Plus Aaron went above and beyond the call of duty when I was having trouble with some crazy local path configurations.
Great plugin, great guy!
Tons of features, good support, and very detailed documentation. It just works, and replaces Imgsizer as my standard image manipulation plugin for EE.
It’s eight bucks and awesome!
Wow, amazed by the excellent support from Aaron, fantastic plugin.Highly recommended.
I was struggling to get any any image size add-on to work well alongside MXJumper, and FFMatrix for when no image was inserted into a post. The others are still great addons, but this one is simply amazing. I no longer have any php errors, but also have gained tons of features for little cash! :)
My new default image sizing plugin. Nuff said.
The most robust image processor for EE. Well worth the $8.
Saved my ass. I didn’t get to choose the server on a particular project, and for some obscure reason the other ImgSizer plugin didn’t work, but CE Image worked great. Worth more than eight bucks!
At last a stable and very well supported image manipulation plug-in. Very easy to setup and nice to have it for EE1 as well EE2!
Take all the other image plugins for EE, combine them together, then add lots of extra features and improvements, and you have CE Image.
This is a must-have plugin if you do any sort of image manipulation, need to add watermarks, etc.
Excellent support too and under active development.
Fantastic plug-in. Does everything Image Sizer and ED Image Resizer do, and more. The developer is super-responsive and it’s great to have someone committed to an image processing plug-in that meets the full range of my needs (and more). I’ve tossed out all the rest, and now I’ve got the best!
I buyed this plugin and really, this the best image image processment plugin ever!
Imagine to build a gallery with channels and upload your pictures with image effecs and the best part – watermarking? The developer add tons of features in each new build and the best: listen your users! 2 thumbs up!
